Essendo indecisa, sarò confusionaria, vi parlerò di tutto insieme e soprattutto posterò più foto del solito.

Today I don't know how to begin to write this post, I'll write about me or about another place I love?

I can't make up my mind about it so I will mix me and this beautiful place but most of all I will post a great number of photos.

Qualche giorno fa era il nostro anniversario di matrimonio, il settimo (già, già, ci siamo sposati un lunedì pomeriggio di sette anni fa, magari prima o poi vi farò vedere qualche altra foto), e la fortuna ha voluto che quel giorno fosse la prima delle tre date di Oleta Adams a Milano.

Some days ago it was our wedding anniversary, it was the seventh (oh yes! I got married in a monday afternoon seven years ago, maybe one day I will show you some other photo), and we were so lucky that it was also the first of the three dates of Oleta Adams in Milan.

Non nego che per molte cose vivere a Milano non mi dispiace affatto: se Milano avesse il mare e un clima meno infelice, credo che sarebbe la città perfetta.

Ecco, vivere a Milano significa avere a disposizione uno dei templi internazionali del Jazz-Blues-Acid Jazz-Soul-Hip Hop-R&B, il Blue Note!

Dal 2003, anno in cui ha aperto, sono sempre e solo venuta via estasiata dalle ore trascorse lì.

Living in Milan is interesting for sure: if Milan was by the seaside and it had a better weather I am sure it would be the perfect city.

Well, living in Milan means also being only ten minutes far from one of the premier Jazz-Blues-Acid Jazz-Soul-Hip Hop-R&B clubs in the world, the Blue Note!

Since its inception in Milan, in 2003, I have only gone away totally captured from the time I spent in there.

Mentre ascolti il mostro sacro di turno, al Blue Note, se vuoi, mangi anche, e noi puntualmente facciamo anche questo: il menu ha pochi piatti semplici, leggeri e deliziosi.

Il brunch della domenica, ovviamente a ritmo di musica, è ottimo!

Listening to the giant artist of the day if you want you can eat as well.

We usually eat as well and the menu is simple but delicious.

Sunday brunch is very good, to the rhythm of the music of course!

L'acustica è ottimale in ogni punto della sala, l'arredamento è essenziale, niente deve distogliere dalla musica, i tavoli sono pochi, disposti a semicerchio attorno al palco, basso, e alcuni in circolo nella parte superiore disposti lungo la ringhiera.

Gli artisti per entrare e uscire passano tra i tavoli.

Oleta Adams è bella e minuta e ha una voce potente, molti di noi la ricordano sicuramente per aver duettato con i Tears for Fears in “Woman in chains” alla fine degli anni 80.

Lei e la sua Band ci hanno incatanti per un'ora e mezza volata via in un soffio!

Acoustics all around the club are good, the forniture is minimal, nothing is allowed to distract attention from music, there are  a few tables all around the low stage and some others all around the railing of the mezzanine.

The artists walk between the tables to go on stage.

Oleta Adams is beautiful and tiny and her voice is powerful, we certainly remind her performance with Tears for Fears in Woman in chains at the end of 80s.

She and her band enchanted us one too fast hour and a half long!
